Crisp & Green, a Minnesota-based fast-casual eatery, is opening several locations in the Sarasota area.

The company, a fast-casual restaurant chain serving grain bowls, smoothies, salads and more, is expanding into four Florida markets, including Naples, Tampa, Orlando and Sarasota, opening three locations in each area, according to its website.

One of those will be in Jacaranda Plaza in Venice, where the company will open a 2,770-square-foot location with a drive-thru. The other two locations are yet to be determined.

The menu includes signature salads like the buffalo and bleu with buffalo chicken, pepperoncini, tomatoes, and cucumber; the Thai and stop me with citrus shrimp, mint, cilantro, and peanuts and the chicken casablanca with golden beets, quinoa, chickpeas, roasted chicken, kale and arugula.

There are also grain bowls like the fiesta bowl with brown rice, roasted cabbage, black beans, and queso fresco and smoothies like the maple pea-nut with banana, maple syrup, peanut butter, coconut milk, and vanilla pea protein.

Crisp & Green launched in Minnesota in 2016. It started franchising in 2018 and in 2020, announced a national expansion that would triple its size.
